David Hirshey Continues Second Career...at ESPN

For the past two years, we’ve enjoyed reading the weekly Deadspin column of David Hirshey, HarperCollins senior vice president, executive editor and frequent bold-face name at Michael’s. We were sad to learn via today’s column that the mustachioed editor, who covered the New York Cosmos (that’s Pelé’s old team) and writes about the beautiful game with a passion and acumen we fail to bring to write-ups of even the best media parties, is moving on from Will Leitch’s empire.
