Stephen Colbert on tonight’s O’Reilly Factor, on Jon Stewart‘s “stoner” demographic:

More interesting to us, as Stewart’s quasi-demographic, were the pundits discussing the popularity of Colbert and Stewart with O’Reilly after Colbert’s segment. Bernard Goldberg‘s hypothesis:
If somehow a conservative comedian had a show on Comedy Central with one or 1.5 million viewers, the media that loves these guys wouldn’t love that conservative comedian — they’d put him on the cover of Time magazine with a bulls-eye.
Oh, that and O’Reilly pointing to a still image of a bear and calling it the editor of the New York Times.
