California Media Workers Guild Gets Freelance Unit Going
Thanks to BayNewser for pointing this out—the freelance guild we reported on in April is finally, yes finally, off and running with a new web site and a new logo.
The unit is part of the California Media Workers Guild and is open to all journalists in northern California. To get in, you’ll have to be credentialed, “ensur[ing= the Guild Freelancer credential will deserve recognition,” the Guild said in its announcement, which essentially means, amateur bloggers don’t bother.
