Breaking: Live Earth Brazil Not Cancelled

By Dylan Comment

Despite a Brazilian judge’s order to cancel the show, Live Earth Brazil is, indeed, happening, FishbowlNY has learned. How did we learn before, say, Billboard? Lenny Kravitz‘s rep Tito told us:

On 7/5/07, Tito Belis wrote:

**TV ALERT! Lenny Kravitz to Headline ‘LIVE EARTH’ Brazil**

Tune in to NBC on Saturday, July 7 (8 p.m.-11 p.m. EST) to catch Lenny Kravitz as he headlines the Brazil leg of the 7-continent, 24-hour Live Earth concerts. Being held on the famed Copacabana Beach with a crowd expectancy of over one million people, Live Earth Brazil is the only show taking place within this global arrangement that is entirely open and free to the public.

Hey Dylan,

It’s happening. We rep Lenny but an official release from Live Earth should be coming shortly that this show is indeed back on.
