Marketing gurus, listen up. The Washington Post is looking for a new email marketing manager to oversee the production of newsletters and time-sensitive breaking news alerts for the newspaper.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with the editorial, sales, marketing and classifieds teams to manage email products for all Washington Post properties. You’ll be called upon for tactical recommendations, as well as analysis of programs, campaigns and segments in order to improve WaPo’s product. Email marketing, strategies and best practices should be your expertise.
To be considered, you’ll need five to seven years of experience with online or email marketing, as well as highly developed analytical skills and operational knowledge of online metrics. As they go hand-in-hand, you should be knowledgeable about social media, and demonstrate a proven ability to manage complex online or email newsletter projects. Those with HTML, Dreamweaver and CMS skills should apply here.
