Politico Makes More Hires
The Politico has hired Robin Reid as a senior editor. She’s previously worked at National Geographic and freelanced for People, USA Weekend, Newhouse Newspapers and the (Baltimore) Sun.
Continuing their “we love the ladies” trend (Anne, Kim, Josie, Amy, Carrie, Aoife, Barbara, Dana, Katie, Samantha, Ta’Mara), they’ve also hired Carrie Budoff away from the Philadelphia Inquirer. There, she covered the Santorum race and she’ll be a Senate reporter for the Politico.
And, an update on our earlier post: Ben Smith will remain in New York City (gee, isn’t there some potentially 2008-important senator there?).
