Onion Comes To D.C.

So, apparently, today’s the first day that The Onion hits the streets of D.C., although we’ve yet to see an Onion box with an actual paper in it. So, although we’d love to review it for you, we can’t get our hands on a copy. But we’ll take the Express’ word that Metro riders have gotten a peak.

>UPDATE: From a reader: “Preview copies were being passed out by hawkers at various stations yesterday. Normally, the Onion hits the streets on Thursdays (in the afternoon, I think)…”

>UPDATE: “The Onion says that there will be some Wednesday distribution by hawkers at selected Metro Stations and delivery to newsboxes and assorted store locations by Thursday evenings.”
