John Solomon to Share Tricks of Trade

Center for Public Integrity Executive Editor John Solomon will share tricks of the trade and discuss the iWatch News project at an upcoming event at the National Press Club on April 25. The Center launched the beta version of iWatch News this month. The web-based publication offers stories on money and politics, government accountability, the environment and the financial sector.

A little on Solomon: He joined the Center in March 2010 as its first journalist-in-residence. He was executive editor of TWT, a national investigative correspondent for WaPo and oversaw the investigative team at the AP. They’re billing him as an “experienced innovator.”

The event will be held in the Bloomberg Classroom of the NPC and includes refreshments. The program, which beings at 6:30 p.m., is gratis, but reservations are required at nnottingham@press.org.
