Facebook Users Are Really Into the U.S. Presidential Election

The 2015 lists keep coming.

Facebook’s Year in Review–which reminded us a bit of Snapchat’s Discover feature–looked at the most-discussed topics on the site for 2015.

Taking the top spot, both in the United States and globally, was the U.S. presidential election, calculated based on the frequency of mentions in posts. We’re sure you have all the anecdotal evidence you need on that from your own Facebook accounts.

Facebook also looked at its most-discussed politicians globally. As on Tumblr, President Barack Obama came in at number one, but this time was followed by Donald Trump.
