Collender To Pen Column For Roll Call

I am pleased to announce that Stan Collender will be bringing his weekly budget column to Roll Call effective this month. For the past decade Stan has written “Budget Battles” for nationaljournal.com, explaining the politics and process of the annual budget debate in an incisive, entertaining way that provides both essential information and a good read.

There is, in fact, humor to be found in the agate type of the federal budget, and Stan is just the guy to dig it out: In addition to being a leading expert on the budget, he is a former stand-up comedian.

Stan is managing director of Qorvis Communications, a highly sought-after speaker, a frequent guest on the radio and TV news circuit, and author of the seminal work “The Guide to the Federal Budget,” which graces the most important bookshelves in Washington.
