Clark-Johnson To Step Down
The president of Gannett Co. Inc.’s newspaper division said Thursday she plans to retire in May after 40 years with the company.
Sue Clark-Johnson, as head of the McLean-based publishing giant’s newspaper operations since 2005, has overseen the country’s largest newspaper, USA Today, one of 85 daily newspapers that Gannett owns, along with hundreds of nondaily publications.
A successor has not yet been named.
