C-SPAN's Candidate Forum to Preempt First GOP Debate

All 17 GOP presidential candidates are invited to attend the national televised forum -- 3 days prior to FOX News' debate.

C-SPAN is partnering with several regional papers in early-voting states to host a GOP presidential candidate forum on August 3rd, announced the network Wednesday morning.

The national televised forum, hosted by C-SPAN and the New Hampshire Union Leader, is inviting all 17 GOP presidential hopefuls to participate. Thus far, the confirmations of 6 candidates have been submitted — including Gov. Chris ChristieBen Carson, Gov. John KasichCarly Fiorina, Sen. Lindsey Graham, and fmr. Gov. George Pataki.
