Blankley to Edelman: The Release

Edelman announced today that Tony Blankley, former press secretary and advisor to Speaker Newt Gingrich and editor of The Washington Times editorial page, will join the firm’s Washington office as executive vice president for global public affairs.

Also announced by Edelman were the additions of former U.S. Rep. Anthony “Toby” Moffett (D-CT) and Clinton White House environmental advisor Paul W. Bledsoe as strategic counselors.

“Tony Blankley’s special expertise as a communications and public policy strategist will be of immense value to our clients,” said Rob Rehg, president of Edelman’s Washington office.
