Atlantic Media Owner Appointed To Terrorism Alert Review Panel

The Atlantic‘s Marc Ambinder reveals on his blog today that the owner of Atlantic Media Group, David Bradley, has been appointed to the Department of Homeland Security’s new advisory panel on terrorism alerts.

He appears to be the only member of the media on this 17-person panel, which also includes former homeland security advisor to President Bush Fran Townsend, ex-FBI/CIA director William Webster, two governors, a member of the Heritage Foundation, several mayors, police chiefs, and the president of the Navajo nation, according to Ambinder’s post. The advisory panel is tasked with making a recommendation in 60 days on whether or not to continue the color alert system.
