On Tuesday morning something magnificent happened, and few people were awake or watching to catch it.
C-SPAN’s Washington Journal was taking calls regarding how much influence Congress should have on the Iranian nuclear negotiations, when a caller, who identified himself as Jack Strickland, chimed in from Los Angeles.
“I’m calling from Bel Air, California, but I’m originally from Philadelphia, specifically West Philadelphia,” said the caller.
“But anyway, I was actually discussing this issue with a friend of mine recently while I was in Philly. It occurred on a basketball court. At some point during the conversation, a couple of guys who were up to no good essentially started causing trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one little fight and my mom got scared and said you’re moving with your auntie and your uncle in Bel Air.”
