Support The Avon Foundation At "Booze For Boobs" Next Week

In October, I will be walking 39.3 miles over two days in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. As part of my commitment to the walk and this charitable cause, I have pledged to raise funds for the Avon Foundation.

Last year, a friend and I threw a happy hour fundraiser for our Avon Walk that we called Booze for Boobs. It was so successful, we’re having another one this year. I hope you will come, bring friends and help support the Avon Foundation’s commitment to ending breast cancer while helping those women and their families already affected by the disease.

A $10 donation — which goes directly to charity — will get you in the door for happy hour drink specials like $3 bottled beers, $4 draught beers and $6 mixed drinks and cocktails like the Watermelon-Tini and Mango Margaritas.

We’re also raffling off some really cool prizes, like a handcrafted silver “Hope” heart pendant from Luster Metal Works, two tickets to Mediabistro’s UGCX conference and two month-long subscriptions to Mediabistro On Demand videos.
