Sao Paulo Museum of Art In Trouble, Once Again

Forget what we said the other day about the trouble finally dying down at the Sao Paulo Museum of Art. After recovering the two paintings stolen in the lamest art theft ever, the NY Times is reporting that the museum is now facing threats by the government for a bevy of unrelated, incredible problems. We say incredible because it’s all really, truly mind-boggling.

In court proceedings, the authorities contend that the museum has been operating for 40 years without formal permission from the city, the police and the fire service.
