Rush Limbaugh’s radio show today dealt almost entirely with The New York Times, a bete noir of the conservative talker. Limbaugh relished in the fact that he had predicted that the media establishment would turn against Senator McCain after years of cordial relations. ”The drive-by media took down the big maverick that they endorsed,” said Limbaugh during the second-hour of his show.
”The story is The New York Times behaving exactly like we knew they would, trying to destroy the Republican Presidential nominee,” Limbaugh said later in the broadcast, drawing comparisons with Rathergate.
