Roger Ailes will continue on at Fox News after he signs a new contract. His current four-year deal was set to expire near the end of 2016, but he’ll remain on for at least another couple years. “Lachlan, James and I are delighted that Roger will be leading key businesses for us and our shareholders for years to come, and he has our unwavering support,” Rupert Murdoch wrote in a statement. Additionally, Murdoch loses chief of staff Natalie Ravitz. The Murdoch Here Tumblr founder will “transition to a leadership operating position.”…

The New Republic grabs Sasha Belenky from The Huffington Post. He’ll be features director, assigning, crafting and developing long work on both the print and digital side. Before HuffPo and a stint at Guardian US, Belenky worked at TNR as a reporter-researcher and Web editor, a job he left in 2007… Foreign Policy recruits Dan De Luce and Bill Allison from Agence France-Presse and the Sunlight Foundation, respectively, as chief national security correspondent and chief investigative reporter… U.S. News & World Report hires Bill Frischling as vice president and launch executive of a new real estate product.
