In yet another reshuffling at Guggenheim Media Entertainment Group where Janice Min has been implementing a Hollywood Reporter-style makeover at sister title Billboard, Lynne Segall, the svp, publisher at THR, will also now oversee both brands as evp and group publisher for Billboard and THR.
In her new role, Segall will lead the integration of THR and Billboard’s advertising sales and business development, which includes offering more cross-platform sales opportunities across the two brands and driving digital growth. Segall will report to Guggenheim Media Entertainment Group co-president John Amato.
“Lynne has been at the heart of The Hollywood Reporter’s success, turning brand potential into a churn of growth and constantly raising the bar with a string of truly spectacular achievements,” Amato said, in a statement.
THR, Billboard and Adweek are owned by affiliates of Guggenheim Partners.
As Min transformed THR from old-school trade publication to glossy must-read with a wide consumer audience, Segall followed suit on the business side, increasing revenue by adding more fashion, luxury, auto and lifestyle advertising and expanding the brand’s successful live event franchises, like the Women In Entertainment breakfast and Nominees Night Party during the Oscars.
