It was on April 12, 2015 that Hillary Clinton officially announced that she was seeking the Democratic nomination for president.
We have been at this for one year, officially at least. You don’t want to forget all the when-will-she speculative stories in the long lead up to the announcement, the pre-announcement email server coverage, the post-announcement email server coverage—really, when it comes to the emails, there is nothing to forget, because the server coverage is with us still.
One year feels too short to capture the sense of how time has passed this election cycle. Perhaps we, all of us, have always been covering the elections, always will be covering the elections, this election, trapped in a glitch of time and space.
