Hearst Magazines has named Deede Dickson Vice President, Business Development for its consumer marketing group. Dickson comes to Hearst from Next Issue Media, the tablet venture formed by several publishing houses. Prior to that she was a Senior Vice President at Time Inc.’s business development group.
“Deede, along with her talented team, will be exploring and expanding the innovative partnerships and programs that can help strengthen our consumer marketing efforts across the Hearst portfolio,” said Liberta Abbondante, Senior Vice President of Consumer Marketing for Hearst Magazines. “Her experience in this area makes her a great fit for our group and we’re very pleased to have her on board.”
Dickson starts on January 3.
