Food Writer Robb Walsh No Longer At The Houston Press

James Beard and Bert Greene award-nominated writer Robb Walsh is no longer covering food and restaurants for The Houston Press as of today – just a little over two months short of what would have been a decade at the paper.

In an announcement on his personal Web site, Walsh professed to having mixed feelings about this change:

It’s sad to say goodbye. But along with the nostalgia, there’s a feeling of liberation. I am looking forward to a lot of projects I’ve always wanted to tackle, but never had the time for.
