Tina Brown is trying her best to make sure that her TV era never dies. We told you about Daily Beast TV a bit ago, and today the digital TV venture has gone live. The site features original content such as “Ask Andrew Anything,” “Beast Feed,” and “Op-Vid Campaign 2012.” Daily Beast TV also curates videos from other places; today there is a clip from “The Daily Show.”
Trying to keep the Daily Beast/Newsweek audience on the site by pairing new content with pulled in topical videos is a smart play by Brown, but we’ll have to see if it ends up working. As always, if the content is good, people will watch. If it’s not, Daily Beast TV will disappear quickly.
