Current Media Cuts 80, Shifts Away From Short-Form Programming

Current Media is changing the way it does business: fewer in-house vids, and more longer shows acquired from the outside.

As a result of the changes, 80 people—about a quarter of the company’s staff—are being let go today from the company’s offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

Fine, we’re happy that the company (says it) is still strong. But Rosenthal can’t be too popular with about 80 folks right now.
