Workplace environment can mean everything to assure quality work throughout the day. Whether it’s an open room with tons of light or a dim basement void of any social atmosphere, everyone has a preference.
Mashable highlighted some of the most creative work environments across the globe, and some great office features popped up. My favorite was the Toronto group Grip Limited, which has an open office, featuring a slide and a fireman pole. Question, do you get down the fireman pole faster in a suit or jeans and a T-shirt? Just wondering.
The funniest feature came from the Shelton, Conn. company Junk My Car, which has a mannequin as its receptionist. No kidding, people come in and the first thing they see is a mannequin at a desk, with a computer next to it. Talk about a great way to make the company stand out, but the conversation must be limited.
Anyways, check out the full slide show here.
And for the freelancers out there, check out how to pitch Mashable, if you know of any other creative offices worth writing about.
