New York Cottages & Gardens (NYC&G) will debut in March. The publication targets design enthusiasts living in high income regions within New York City, Westchester, the Gold Coast of Long Island and Hudson Valley.
Kendell Cronstrom, editor of shelter publications including Elle Decor, House Beautiful, InStyle and Real Simple is the editor-in-chief and will also remain as editor‐in-chief of Hamptons Cottages & Gardens.
D.J. Carey will continue to edit Connecticut Cottages & Gardens and serve as editorial director of Cottages & Gardens Publications. Nora Sheehan, who has served as creative director at Elle Decor, House Beautiful and Travel + Leisure, is consulting creative director.
“I’m so excited to be editing New York Cottages & Gardens,” says Cronstrom. “There are so many great projects in the New York region, which is the epicenter of American design and a natural bridge between our company’s successful franchises in Connecticut and the Hamptons.”
NYC&G will publish five issues in 2012, two in the spring and three in the fall. Content will include luxury design and home decor, real estate, decorating, gardening, entertaining and food.
Westchester Cottages & Gardens publication will be folded into NYC&G.
