New York’s David Edelstein thought he knew the identity of the writer Rush Limbaugh claimed to have threatened on his October 15th show. Joan Walsh, one of the first writers to report on Rush Limbaugh’s threats to a mystery reporter, emailed Time magazine’s Richard Corliss. Corliss denied that he was the journalist in question. From Salon:

”’The David Edelstein column, as it relates to me, is total bullshit, unfounded and irresponsible. Rush Limbaugh never called me, ever, and never uttered a hostile word in my direction. He certainly never defamed me, which leaves him one up on Edelstein.”

The mystery continues: Who was the journalist Limbaugh threatened?
