Ariane de Vogue will be joining CNN Politics Digital, announced executive editor of CNN Politics Digital, Rachel Smolkin, and managing editor of CNN’s Washington, DC Bureau, Adam Levine, in a staff memo yesterday.
We are thrilled to announce that Ariane de Vogue is joining CNN Politics Digital to write about the Supreme Court, chronicling everything from breaking news about major rulings to the evolving politics of personality among the justices. Ariane joins us from ABC News, where she has long been a respected reporter on the SCOTUS beat and a key member of many investigative projects, including coverage of the September 11th aftermath, Ford/Firestone and Chinese export espionage.
Ariane’s arrival at CNN is an exciting moment for the integration of the digital team with the bureau as a whole. She will play an important role in our television coverage as well, working closely with Justice correspondent Pamela Brown and Josh Gaynor to guide network-wide reporting on Supreme Court cases and other legal developments.
Ariane starts here Tuesday, just in time for a momentous Supreme Court term. Please join us in welcoming her to the team.
