Chen and Vieth Leave WH Beat

Ed Chen and Warren Veith, both at the Los Angeles Times, are leaving the White House beat. Here is the note from the Times’ Peter Wallsten:

    To All:

Peter Wallsten of the LA Times has asked me to pass along the attached. We of course will miss Ed and Warren terribly, and join in wishing them both the very best.

    Rgds,
    Mark Smith, WHCA President

Ed Chen and Warren Vieth have found an exit strategy. They are leaving the White House beat – and not on an artificial timetable set by politicians in Washington. While we remain bitter about this joint conspiracy of abandonment, we’d like to invite you all to come toast these two distinguished colleagues.

Anyone know of future plans for these two?
