C-SPAN Is Filming a Special on the Senate

To be allowed to film the deliberations of our deliberative body, C-SPAN had to get permission via a Senate vote, back in 1986. To get the go-ahead to film a 90-minute feature on the Senate debuting this spring, the Senate had to pass a resolution–Senate Resolution 642, specifically–allowing C-SPAN to wander the halls of the Senate for its production. In addition to wandering the Senate Wing of the Capitol, C-SPAN will also get to film the Senate Chamber and office buildings for the production.
