Burkle Bids On Entire Tribune Co.
Long-rumored to be eyeing the LA Times, it seems Jared Paul Stern‘s buddy Ron Burkle has finally pulled the trigger on a bid for it — all of it.
Via the LAT:
Billionaire philanthropist Eli Broad and prominent investor Ron Burkle submitted a bid today to buy Tribune Co. of Chicago, which owns the Los Angeles Times, KTLA Channel 5 and the Chicago Cubs.
