There are stars. And then there are famous people for Washington, D.C. NBC Washington’s “Niteside” feature reports today that MSNBC Capitol Hill Correspondent Luke Russert is a “socialite” and a “star.” Lucky him.
NiteWatch: Your Guide to Where the Stars & Socialites Were Partying. See where the stars ended up last night.
The picture accompanying the star feature is Luke, and we learn that he recently caught the UConn – Georgetown college basketball game.
UPDATE: Russert sent us a note mocking his celebrity:
“The Georgetown v UCONN game took place at the XL Center in Hartford. Like many Americans I ‘caught’ part of the game on TV after coming home from work at 8pm. Interestingly I was switching between the game and a C-SPAN feed of the House floor all night since the House didn’t conclude its business till 3:40am. Quite the life of a “star.'”
