Good news, job seekers. Babble is expanding its family and launching a new Dad channel, but it needs an editor to lead the charge. To start, the gig will be remote, and will only require about 10 hours per week, but if all goes well, you could be looking at a full-time job in no time.
In less than five years, Babble has grown into an award winning online destination, and ranked among Time magazine’s Top 50 sites of 2010. “We’re probably the only parenting site that even attempts to do any real journalism, that actually publishes great writers and writes about people’s personal experiences [and] covers the news,” founder Rufus Griscom said in an interview with Mediabistro.
If you land this editor position, that’s exactly what you’ll be a part of — that is, if you have the experience, contacts and management skills to back yourself up. Those who think they have what it takes can apply here.
