Amy Schumer Livens Up Trainwreck Contest

A bidet? Maybe. A lap dance? For sure.

There might be a bidet, promises Amy Schumer. Although she’s not quite sure why the Grand Prize winners of a trip to New York and a pair of tickets to the July 14 premiere of Trainwreck will be put up in only a four-star hotel. “Why not five?” she asks, rightly.

Everything is a party when Schumer is involved. And sure enough, at the very bottom of the list of Grand Prize package perks, there are a couple of very cool chasers listed:

Bill Hader will bring popcorn to your seat with special truffle salt;

Amy Schumer will give you a disappointing lap dance.

Disappointing? Not possible. Unconventional? You bet your red carpet life. All proceeds from the contest, running through July 6 and organized by CrowdRise, will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Update [July 21]:
The winner of the contest, Adam Fein, has posted photos and video of the Schumer lap dance. Even better, he has promised to match with $5,000 of his own money, if his CrowdRise fundraising follow-up page hits that target. At press time, the donations total is almost halfway there:

I’m the lucky winner of Universal’s TrainWreck Premiere Experience contest benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society.

I got to walk the red carpet with my wife Paula at the New York movie premiere. Amy Schumer, the film’s writer and star, also foolishly promised a “disappointing lap dance” to the contest winner. As my daughter told me: “I guess this is the one time getting a lap dance in front of Mommy is acceptable.”

Well, Ms. Schumer delivered on the dance, as you can see in the photo and video, it was as great as you might imagine and not at all disappointing.
