Y&L Lands Delta Faucet’s Peerless Business

CHICAGO Delta Faucet Co. has tapped Young & Laramore to handle its Peerless brand, according to the agency.

The Indianapolis shop won the business after handling the company’s premium Brizo brand for a year. The agency, which landed the business without a review, will work on increasing Peerless’ retail sales, as well as enhancing the 2-year-old brand’s image among the trade audience.

“We are committed to a multibrand strategy at Delta, and Y&L’s focus on two of our three brands will be critical to our success,” said Charlie McTargett, senior director of marketing for the client, in a statement.

Billings for the assignment were undisclosed. The win comes as Delta is evaluating three shops to handle its $15 million brand account. Shops pitching for the business are Havas’ Arnold in Boston, Omnicom Group’s BBDO in New York and Interpublic Group’s The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va. That review, which is being run by Boston consultancy Pile and Co., is expected to be completed in September.
