WPP Taps Linaugh as Talent Chief

NEW YORK WPP Group has named Mark Linaugh its new chief talent officer, effective May 1, sources said.

Linaugh will join from WPP’s Ogilvy & Mather in New York, where he served in the same capacity since 2003. Before joining WPP, Linaugh was vp of human resources at Time Warner for five years.

Linaugh replaces Beth Axelrod, 42, who left WPP to join online auctioneer eBay in San Jose, Calif.
