Wilmont Commits to Boy Meets Girl

NEW YORK Outgoing Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners co-executive creative director Logan Wilmont will land across the pond at creative shop Boy Meets Girl in the same post, according to Chris Chalk, head of strategy at the London agency.

Wilmont’s last day at the New York agency was Dec. 10. Last month, he said he would return to London to be closer to his family, but would not give details on his new position. Wilmont could not immediately be reached for comment.

“I’d met Logan a few times,” said Chalk, who left Omnicom Group’s Goodby Silverstein & Partners in July. “We had the same idea for the way agencies should work … driven by the objective of creating ideas that solve problems for clients and then executing those ideas.” Because Wilmont has worked at KB+P, “he is very used to working in an idea-driven context and culture,” Chalk said.

Three former partners of St. Luke’s established Boy Meets Girl last year: Andy Law, David Pemsel and Kate Stanners. Stanners left the shop in October, and has since taken a post as creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi in London.

Wilmont, 45, will manage the 20-person creative department at Boy Meets Girl.
