Larry Weber, CEO of Advanced Marketing Services, left his post last week as IPG continued the breakup of its below-the-line unit. Weber said he will stay on with IPG in a consulting role. Late last year, IPG shifted AMS’ Octagon and Jack Morton Worldwide units to the Sports & Entertainment Group. AMS’ PR shops, including Weber Shandwick and Golin/ Harris, will report to Weber Shandwick CEO Harris Diamond. AMS’ ISO Healthcare Consulting and Magna Global will report to IPG.
