Larry Frey has joined production company Uncle, Santa Monica, Calif., as a director, focusing on integrated brand-management work. Frey has a diverse background in advertising, having previously served as co-founder and creative director at independent 180 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and creative director at indie Wieden + Kennedy in Tokyo and Portland, Ore. In his most recent post, he directed commercials at production house Villains, Los Angeles, where he worked on campaigns including Toyota for Publicis Groupe’s Saatchi & Saatchi, Torrance, Calif.
