Omnicom’s TBWA\Media Arts Lab has promoted ecd Duncan Milner, best known for his work on Apple, to chief creative officer.
Milner (pictured), an 18-year-veteran of the agency, now assumes a global role at TBWA\MAL. The division was founded in 2006 to service Apple and has grown to more than 200 employees in four offices: Los Angeles, London, Tokyo and Beijing.
Lee Clow, who remains global director of Media Arts and chairman and CCO of TBWA Worldwide, said, “Duncan is a great talent and a great guy. His contribution to Chiat/Day over the last 18 years has been a role model for any creative person here. I couldn’t think of anyone more comfortable passing this role on to. He’s truly earned it.”
Milner joined TBWA\Chiat\Day in 1990 and has worked on brands including Nissan, Canadian Airlines, Frutopia, Levi’s and Pedigree. In addition to Los Angeles, he has worked at agency offices in San Francisco, St. Louis, New York and Toronto. In 2000, Milner became creative director on TBWA\Mal’s Apple account.
