Stride Rite is soliciting agencies to pitch its children’s-footwear-group ad account. Julie Lehman, director of marketing, declined to disclose the budget, though she said advertising, direct marketing and online efforts are all planned. Stride Rite spent $900,000 on its children’s brand last year, according to CMR, but sources said it is looking to ramp up to the low seven figures. Toth Brand Imaging, which has worked on that portion of the Cambridge, Mass.-based client’s business since 1995, declined to participate.
