Strawderman Advances at Mintz & Hoke

BOSTON Mintz & Hoke said it has elevated Su Strawderman to creative director. She had been acd at the agency for the past several years.

Strawderman, 43, an art director by trade who joined Mintz nine years ago, will now oversee all daily operations in the Avon, Conn.-based shop’s 12-person creative department.

Prior to Mintz, she held art direction posts at Connecticut Mutual and agencies such as Cronin & Co., Keiler & Co. and Doner.

“Su has demonstrated time and time again the unique combination of creative talent, logistical skill and strong leadership required by the role of creative director,” said Chris Knopf, chief executive and ecd at the agency.

Mintz claims about $9 million in revenue on billings of more than $60 million. Key clients of the independent shop include Mohegan Sun, Pratt & Whitney and Prudential Retirement.
