NEW YORK Jerry Seinfeld and an animated version of Superman are set to join forces in a new “webisode” produced by WPP Group’s Ogilvy & Mather, production company @Radicalmedia and independent Digitas for American Express.

The effort, which will debut March 29, was co-written by Seinfeld and directed by Academy Award-winning director Barry Levinson. It chronicles the “exploits and unique friendship of comedian and Kryptonian,” according to the company. The execution launches on AmericanExpress.com, and may be followed by another, a company representative said.
