Sears to Dump ‘You Can Count on Me’ Tagline

CHICAGO – Sears, Roebuck & Co. is expected to announce today a new tagline for its mainline campaign that will be launched Thanksgiving night through Ogilvy & Mather. The new campaign will replace the two-year-old, ‘You can count on me,’ theme, and will be supported heavily through the Christmas selling season. Sears is also working on a major campaign to be launched during the Winter Olympics.
