Resort, Cookware Sign With Ferebee/Lane

ATLANTA Ferebee/Lane Brand Communications, a new agency formed by two former Erwin-Penland executives late last year, said it has acquired luxury resort Blackberry Farm and premium cookware manufacturer Le Creuset of America as clients.

The independent Greenville, S.C., shop added both accounts without reviews. Both companies assign their advertising to shops as projects. New work from Ferebree/Lane is scheduled to launch this spring for both clients.

Matt Ferebee, 31, and Josh Lane, 35, opened the shop to focus on doing advertising for luxury consumer products. Ferebee, a copywriter, is the shop’s creative director, and Lane, an account supervisor, is the strategic director.

“We are focused on connecting with connoisseurs who value distinct home and travel brands,” Ferebee said. “These consumers are more educated, more aware and more passionate about their purchases and what those purchases mean to them. You have to talk to them a little differently.”

Blackberry Farm is a small luxury hotel and resort in Walland, Tenn., located on 4,200 acres in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. Le Creuset, based in Fresnoy-Le-Grand in Northern France, maintains an office in the U.S.

Ferebee/Lane’s other clients include Hickory Chair, Hendricks Furniture Group, Boyles, Vereli and several real estate developments.
