RE/MAX Taps Camp + King to Launch New Creative Strategy

Account had been at Leo Burnett

Camp + King, San Francisco, has landed lead creative duties for RE/MAX, winning the business from Leo Burnett after a review.

Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners and mcgarrybowen were the other finalists. Burnett had been creative lead on the global real estate franchisor's business since 2013.

Measured media spending in 2014 was $37.4 million, according to Kantar Media.

Camp + King will debut its first work for RE/MAX in a 2016 campaign that includes a new tagline and new creative campaigns across TV, radio, digital, social, out-of-home and print. The Denver-based company has been using "Dream with your eyes open" as a tagline.

Camp + King was founded four years ago by Jamie King, the former co-president of Euro RSCG Chicago and his former Publicis & Hal Riney colleague Roger Camp. The two execs set up the business with the assistance of Havas, the owner of what was then known as Euro RSCG, and Havas still maintains a minority stake in the agency. The company's current clients include Hershey, Dish, Del Taco, Glad (projects), Google and YouTube.
