Realtor Eliminates Mayer, Richards From Consideration

The Richards Group of Dallas and Peter A. Mayer Advertising in New Orleans have been cut from Arvida’s account review.

Still in contention for the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., real-estate developer’s estimated $5 million account are The Godwin Group of Jackson, Miss.; Lewis Communications in Birmingham, Ala.; and Sawyer Riley Compton of Atlanta.

Arvida, a division of St. Joe Company, initially sent out questionnaires to a dozen shops primarily in the Southeast, the client said.

The client is seeking work for its “secondary communities,” which in-clude a number of beachfront developments. IPG’s Austin Kelley Advertising in Atlanta is responsible for Arvida’s corporate and “primary” homes account, which is not part of the review.
