Razorfish Develops Multilingual Site

NEW YORK — Razorfish has developed a multilingual Web site for CHEP, a provider of pallet and plastic container pooling services.

The site ( http://www.chep.com/ ) offers supply chain information and online account access for customers in seven languages, including English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Italian and Portuguese. Customers in Italy, for instance, will have information tailored to their specific region, as well as access to the same worldwide information, products and services as customers in the U.S.

The New York-based interactive shop also populated the site with relevant industry information to educate prospective customers and tools to increase electronic transactions and data exchange between CHEP and its current customers.

Razorfish is in the process of being bought by Salt Lake City-based e-business roll-up, SBI and Company, for $8.5 million [IQ Daily Briefing, Nov. 25].
