NEW YORK Nestle Purina PetCare has promoted Steven Crimmins to vp and CMO of U.S. Pet Foods — a newly created position. Crimmins, who previously served as the company’s vp, marketing, dog food, will oversee Purina PetCare’s dog food, cat food and snack brands.

Crimmins (pictured) joined Purina in 1984 as brand manager of new products. Over the years, he served as director of marketing for Purina’s Dog Food brands, and in 2003, was named vp, marketing for dog food, super premium brands and new products.
